Software/Hardware Assessment

Description of Service:

  • For purchases or installs of new technologies, whether hardware or software, must first be evaluated for security & accessibility risks.
  • Software assessments include plug-ins, extensions or downloads, even if they are free.
  • Hardware assessments include all equipment & devices that connect to ESU's network, whether wireless or wired.

Who can request it:

  • All employees including student employees
  • Faculty

How do I get it:

  • Click the Request Assessment button on the right
  • Support available Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

How much does it cost?

  • There is no cost for technical support.
