Google 2-Step Verification (MFA)

Description of Service:

• Google 2-Step Verification also known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)  is coming for all g. accounts.
• This service was turned on June 5, 2023
• 2-Step will be required for all g. accounts starting October 4, 2023

Who can use it:

• Students, Alumni, & Retirees that have g.emporia.edu Google Accounts

How do I get it:

• Follow the prompts to set up an authenticator for the account
• Need Help? Click the Google 2-Step Verification Issue button at the upper-right
• Support available Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

How much does it cost?

• There is no cost for technical support.
