Description of Service:
ESU has implemented a centralized faxing system to replace the individual fax machines across campus. This new faxing system provides the following features:
- Faxes can be sent directly from applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; there is no need to print a document to paper in order to fax it.
- Inbound faxes arrive in an electronic format. There is no need to scan paper faxes in order to file them electronically.
- Better security and privacy – no more centrally located fax machine where faxes can be read by anyone walking by.
- No more expenditures for paper, toner, or replacement of failing fax machines. No more charges for long distance fax calls.
