2) Upon clicking the link or signing into your account for the first time you will be prompted with the following screen:

3) After getting started we need to setup our first device. We recommend starting with Duo Mobile. It may be tempting to use the "Windows Hello" or Thumbprint option however these methods often cause users troubles especially when attempting to sign into another device. Using the "Duo Mobile" option will allow you to sign into any device with your credentials and for as long as you have your cell phone on your person you will always be able to sign in.
Note: If you are still interested in using Windows Hello or the thumbprint option you will have the opportunity to set that up after getting setup with Duo mobile.
4) This screen requires that you enter your phone number. Duo will use your phone number to associate you to your account and can also be used to receive text messages to your number.

5) After entering your phone number you will be prompted to receive a passcode and verify that code. Once you have input the code and the system verifies your identity you will be prompted with the next screen. This is also where you are prompted to install the Duo Mobile app to your smart phone.

5) On screen you will see a QR Code that you can scan. From the Duo mobile app that you just downloaded and you can scan the QR Code. Upon scanning it you should see your account pop-up. From here you keep your account name the same or change it and click Done.
6) Now back on your computer you can now add the "Windows Hello" or your Thumbprint as an approved device if you would like. Otherwise click "I don't want to add any more devices".

7) You can now sign in with Duo. You will be prompted every time you sign into a new device. When signing in, open the Duo app on your phone and click "Approve" if the log in is for you or "Deny" if it is fraudulent and is not you signing in.
After pressing "Approve" you will see this window next. If you select "Yes, this is my device" you may not need to use Duo to verify next time you sign in. If you are using a computer that you primarily use you can select yes otherwise select no.
