Steps:
Using the Duo Mobile (app) is the preferred and fastest way to authenticate. Duo's self-enrollment process makes it easy to register your cell phone and activate the Duo Mobile application so you can receive Duo requests via push notification and tap to approve and log in.
1) You will receive an email from Duo Security with the subject line 'Duo Security Enrollment. This email will contain an enrollment link. Click the first link in the email to start your enrollment. Note: If you try to log in on an ESU sign-in page (like Canvas) you will be prompted there if you try to sign in before you see the email- Start with Step 2.
2) Click Next to begin enrolling your device. You will click Next several times.

3) Select Duo Mobile.

4) Enter your phone number and Click Add phone number.

5) Confirm that your number is correct.

6) Open the app store on your phone and download the Duo Mobile app. Click Next once it's downloaded and installed.

7) Open the app on your phone and scan the QR code, then click Continue.

8) Click Skip for now to continue to the login.

9) When you log into an ESU site you will now get a Push notification for your phone. Tap Accept on your phone to continue.

10) You can click Trust Browser to reduce the number of times you will need to authenticate to Duo. Do not say Yes if this is a public or shared device.
