Each time you access a web page through your browser it caches (stores) information. Clearing the cache cleans out the browser and can make sites run without the additional data. If you are having trouble accessing a website it may help to clear the browsing data in your browser.
1) Open Safari. Along the top of your Mac click on Safari. It should be next to the Apple button.
2) Click Clear History.
2a) You can now clear history ranging from the last hour to all of your history.
If you need to clear Website data such as cookies or other web information you can start by clicking Safari at the top of the page and clicking Settings.
1) Click the tab that says Privacy.
2) Click Manage Website Data
3) You can now remove selected items or select Remove All.
