Steps:

If the filter has caught new spam mail you will get a daily email from noreply@emporia.edu. 

Email Filter Account Quarantine Management

This email will list all the spam detected by the filter since the last notification.  There are 4 options from this page to manage your quarantined email.

  • The first is to Release the email.  This will send the email to your Inbox.   
  • The second option is to Delete the email.  This will delete the email from the quarantine. 
  •  Both of these actions affect the single email only.

  • The third and fourth options are Approve and Block.   
  • Approve allows future emails from the sending domain to continue to send and go directly to your Inbox. 
  • The Block option blocks all future emails from the sending domain. For example: If you block jsmith@gmail.com all incoming emails from Gmail will be blocked.
