How to send and receive a fax

Steps:

1) The first time a user tries to log into Fax.Plus,  start from https://myapps.microsoft.com instead of app.fax.plus.  After logging in the first time, either way works.


2) Browse to https://app.fax.plus/ and click Use single sign-on (SSO)


3) Enter your ESU email address and click 'Log In with SSO'.


4) Enter your email address again on the ESU sign in screen.


5) Enter your ESU password.

6) Click Send Fax


7) Enter the recipient phone number in the format +16205551212.  Use +1 for United States, or the appropriate country code to send faxes to another country, i.e., +86 for China.

Click Add File to select the files to send.  Click Add Page to add a cover sheet or free form text.

Click Send.

You will receive an email acknowledgement when the fax is sent, indicating success or failure.





 

How to receive a fax

 

1) Browse to https://app.fax.plus/


2) Click Use single sign-on (SSO)

3) Enter your ESU email address and click 'Log In with SSO'.

4) Enter your email address again on the ESU sign in screen.

5) Enter your ESU password.

6) Click Faxes


7) The Inbox tab shows the inbound faxes for your fax number. 

The Sent tab shows the faxes that were sent. 

The Outbox shows the faxes that have not been sent yet.

The trash shows the faxes you have deleted.


8) When a fax arrives for your fax number, you are notified via email.  Depending on the security settings for your fax number, the email will contain an attachment of the entire fax, or just a notification that a new fax has arrived.

If you only receive a notification and no attachment, you must log into the fax.plus web page at https://www.fax.plus to retrieve your fax.   

Received faxes are retained on the fax.plus website for 1 year, unless you delete them.
