Activate Duo on a new Phone

How To:

  • Activate a new phone in Duo if you have the same phone number

Applies To:

  • Faculty, Staff, and Student Employees Enrolled in Duo

Steps:


1) Open an Incognito/Private browser window and log into an ESU system to get to the Duo screen. When the prompt screen comes up, click Other Options. 

 


2) Click Manage devices.


3) Select a verification method and complete logging in.

NOTE: You can't add a new device from this page if you do not have access to any of your previously enrolled authentication devices; you'll need to contact the IT Help Desk. If you have the Duo app on your phone, you can select 'Duo Mobile Passcode' and enter the code that the app generates.


4) Click 'I have a New Phone' and enter the information for your new device.
