- How to Map a Network Drive on Windows
Applies To:
- Staff and Faculty with access to W or X drives
Steps:
1) Click on your File Explorer icon.

2) Right-click on This PC, then click Map Network Drive.

3) Select either W or X. For W enter \\fileserver01\shared or for X enter \\fileserver01\specialized. Click Finish. If you do not see the folder of you get an error message, you will need to speak with your department DAC who can request access for you.

4) The drives will now be listed in the This PC section of File Explorer.
