Barracuda Email Filter- Managing Emails

How To:

  • Manage email addresses through the Barracuda Email quarantine

1. Access the Barracuda Portal

Visit: https://ess.barracudanetworks.com/

2. Manage Quarantined Email

After loading in, the Message Log will default to the last 2 days. You can alter this by changing the field under "Data Presets"

To release the quarantined email(s), select the square box next to quarantined email(s), then click on the triangle button on the menu

Select either option below then click on Deliver button.

3. Manage Blocked/Allowed Senders using Sender Policy

  • Navigate to “Settings” > “Sender Policy”

  • Enter the email address (e.g., john@example.com) or domain (e.g., @example.com)
  • Select “block”, “exempt” or “quarantine” for Policy; Comment is optional
  • Click Add

Tips

  • You can add entire domains by entering @domain.com instead of a full email address.
  • Be cautious when blocking domains—this could prevent important communications from being delivered.

You can always remove or edit entries at any time.


4. Report Phishing or Suspicious Emails

  • Use the “Report Phishing” button (available in Outlook)
