Getting Started:

This guide references the maintenance reservation feature in the cars application. Depending on the report you are trying to access, you will need at least one of the following roles assigned:

Steps:

As a administrator user and vehicle master user, you have access to the following menu options.

For vehicle maintenance reservation, select the List Vehicle Reservation icon:

For CARS administrator users and vehicle master users, this feature will allow users to reserve a vehicle for maintenance so that it is unavailable for other users to reserve in the system. This feature allows access to reserve any vehicle for maintenance, not just the primary vehicles (van, car, etc.) but also service vehicles and other campus vehicles.

To reserve a vehicle for maintenance, first select the category of vehicle you want to reserve and complete the reservation form:

Then, you can document the type of maintenance for the scheduled vehicle:
