How To:
Resolve Sync Issues with OneDrive (Windows)
Applies To:
Staff or Faculty
Troubleshooting Steps:
Make sure OneDrive is running. Check the System Tray (down by the time) to make sure OneDrive is running and signed in. The cloud icon should be blue.
Do you have a file that is larger than the 100 GB limit? If so, remove the file from OneDrive.
Does your computer have Windows Updates? If so, install those and reboot.
Do you have the latest version of OneDrive?
Has your password changed? Is your account locked? Is OneDrive needing to authenticate? Are you logged into your computer and the OneDrive app with your newest password?
Close OneDrive (right-click on the icon in the system tray and choose close) and relaunch it from the start menu.
