Unlocking an OnBase Form

Unlocking an OnBase form from the Hyland Unity Client

 1. After opening the Hyland Unity Client, you should be met with a screen that looks like this:Image of the Home screen for the OnBase unity client

 2. In the top left hand side of your screen, you should see a green 'File' icon. Click there

 3. After that click the 'Administration' tab. Then click 'Manage Locks'

 4. Then, you will be brought to a screen that will display any of your OnBase documents that are currently locked. You can click on the document you would like to unlock, and then "Remove selected" to get it unlocked. Image of 'Manage Locks' screen


Unlocking an OnBase form from the OnBase web client

 1. After opening the Onbase web client, you should be met with a screen that looks like this:

 2. In the top left hand side of your screen, you should see three horizontal liens in the top right. Click there. After that, click 'locked objects'

 3. Then, you will be brought to a screen that will display any of your OnBase documents that are currently locked. You can click on the document you would like to unlock, and then "Remove lock" to get it unlocked.
