Uninstall/Reinstall OnBase Unity Client

How To:

  • Uninstall/Reinstall OnBase Unity Client 

Applies To:

  • Staff and Faculty OnBase Users

Steps:

To Uninstall: 

1) Search for Add or Remove Programs, scroll down to Hyland Unity Client, click Uninstall

2) Open File Explorer, click View, then check the box to view Hidden items

3) Navigate to C:\Users\<<enter your userid here>>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0 

Delete all files in the 2.0 folder. 

Click View and uncheck Hidden items. 


To Install: 

You must use Microsoft Edge to install. 

The Installer link is on Hornet365, Employees, OnBase.

Once you click the link circled in red, it will start the download. After the download is complete, you can run and install the Unity client. 


To Exit Onbase: 

Just clicking the X on the window will not exit OnBase.  To exit, in the lower right corner of your window, click the carrot to see the OnBase icon in the system tray:         Right click the OnBase icon, click Exit OnBase:
