Steps:
If you are off-campus you will need to be connected to VPN first. Click here for VPN directions.
These directions are used to install Jabber, which is used to make and accept phone calls.
1) Go to hornet365.com, go to Employees, Downloads For Employees. Click Get VPN Client For Mac. After the download finishes, open it.
Note: If you cannot get the installer to download, try another browser or save the download and then open it.
2) The installer will open. Click continue through all of the installer screens and agree to the software terms. If prompted, enter your Mac's password to install the software. Click Close when the installer is done.
3) The new Jabber software will now be in your Applications folder.
NOTE: If you are prompted to sign in:
1) You will need to enter your email address.
2) Then you will be asked for your username and password, enter your normal ESU login credentials.
3) You may see several warnings that pop up about certificates. Click “Continue” on all of them.
