Barracuda is an email filter designed to prevent users from receiving phishing emails, spam and other malicious attacks. This email filter allows users to login to a portal to view and quarantined emails that can be released to your inbox upon receiving your approval.

Step 1: Go to hornet 365
Step 2: click on the Employees or Faculty tab.
Step 3: On the right side of the screen under all services click on the "AntiSpam" box
Step 4: Then click on the continue to login option.
Step 5: Log in with your ESU Email address.
Step 6: click the Continue to Microsoft button, then enter your ESU password.

2. Manage Quarantined Email
After loading in, the Message Log will default to the last 2 days. You can alter this by changing the field under "Data Presets"

To release the quarantined email(s), select the square box next to quarantined email(s), then click on the triangle button on the menu

Select either option below then click on Deliver button.

3. Manage Blocked/Allowed Senders using Sender Policy

- Navigate to “Settings” > “Sender Policy”

- Enter the email address (e.g., john@example.com) or domain (e.g., @example.com)
- To add a sender's email address to your allow list select "exempt" from the dropdown under Policy.
- To block or quarantine a sender's email address select “block” or “quarantine” from the dropdown under Policy; Comment is optional
- Click Add
Tips
- You can add entire domains by entering @domain.com instead of a full email address.
- Be cautious when blocking domains—this could prevent important communications from being delivered.
You can always remove or edit entries at any time.
4. Report Phishing or Suspicious Emails
- Use the “Report Phishing” button (available in Outlook)
