How To:

• Access and complete required Accessibility Training

Applies To:

• Faculty, GTAs and anyone teaching a course at ESU

Steps:

• This training has two parts. Part one is held on Edupaths Canvas portal, including seven short courses.

• Part two includes one course hosted on ESU’s Canvas portal.

Part 1

• Visit the Edupaths portal at https://edupaths.instructure.com/login/canvas

  • Your Username is your ESU email address

  • The password is february2023

 

• After successfully logging in, you will see the seven courses you are enrolled in on the dashboard. Click each course to enter and complete the material.

Part 2

• Log into the ESU Canvas portal by going to hornet365.com. Click on Faculty, then Canvas. Once you've logged in, find and complete the course “Managing Closed Captions.”

 

• If you don’t see the course on your dashboard, click the course icon on the global navigation bar and choose “All courses.”

 

Completion Requirements

To obtain your transcript from Edupaths:

• Open the completion confirmation page inside any of the seven courses. It would be the last module in the course. Click Completion Confirmation.

 

• Visit the dashboard

•  Click “Transcript PDF” to download your transcript.

 

Once you have downloaded your transcript you will need to send it to ESULearnTech@emporia.edu.

You don’t need to show any proof for completing part 2; since your completion will be tracked in our Canvas system. We have tied our badging system (Credly) to these courses. So, once you completed them, you will earn a digital badge that can be shared on different platforms.
