IT Maintenance + Service Outages

IT will be performing maintenance on VPN2, Thursday, September 3, 2020 Beginning at 6:00 am, VPN2 will be unavailable.  Work is expected to  continue until 8:00 am.  Please use VPN for connection on Thursday.  And as a reminder, always log off the VPN every night when you are finished working.

There will be a campus-wide power outage on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.   All  buildings will be closed from 6:00 AM Tuesday until 6:00 AM Wednesday August 12.  Employees should stay at home and work remotely if possible. All university online systems and services, which include Canvas, Teams, Jabber, OnBase and email, etc.  will still be operational from off-campus.  It is only on-campus connectivity that is affected.

Beginning at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2020, IT will be performing critical network maintenance.  During this maintenance, all network traffic, including the Internet, will be unavailable.  All services should be considered ‘offline’ for the duration of the maintenance.  These services include (but are not limited to) Outlook email, Banner, OnBase, Canvas, SharePoint, and Hornet 365.  Work is expected to be complete by 11:00 PM.  We thank you for your consideration and patience during this time.  Follow us on Twitter @ESUHelpDesk for updates during the maintenance.  Scheduled maintenance and/or outages may be viewed on our IT Service Status page on Hornet365.
