The remote tool (TeamViewer) that we use to support your calls to the Help Desk, or to technicians, requires an update to the icon on your computer. We will be rolling out the update for the next few days.  You may see a black box pop up on your screen for a few seconds, and then it will go away.  It is nothing to be alarmed about. It is the update running. The update only applies to University computers, not personal devices. Thanks for your patience while we complete this necessary update.

Cognos reporting system is currently having trouble with log ins for reports.  The Data Mgmt team in IT is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.  Thank you for your patience during this time.  Questions may be directed to the IT Help Desk.

Due to a power outage overnight, ESU Data Center went offline for a period.  IT techs have been working to restore systems, and currently, most systems are online and running.  Out internet provider has some equipment repairs to complete later this morning, so internet access to and from campus will go off again for a brief period.
